Announcing our January picks!

Happy New Year!

Can you believe that it is 2019!? We are so excited for the reading ahead and can’t wait to meet to discuss with you in February.

As a reminder, there will always be a featured read and two supplemental reads, so feel free to read one or all.

And now, our January pick is...

The Underground Railroad

The Underground Railroad tells the story of Cora, a slave living on a cotton plantation in Georgia. The novel details her escape on the Underground Railroad and all the harrowing encounters she has along the way. A winner of the Pulitzer Prize, we are so thrilled to kick off the year with such a poignant piece.
