How is it already November? 2018 is coming to a close, but don’t worry - Manhattan Book Club has more books for you to snap up!
As a reminder, there will always be a featured read and two supplemental reads, so feel free to read one or all. The holidays are a busy time to scarf down three books with your turkey + gravy, but we’re excited to meet with you on December 7 (somewhere festive, to be announced)!

is our November pick!
There, There tells the story of 12 American Indians living in California who all come together on one day for the Big Oakland Powwow. It has been lauded as groundbreaking “...and brings so much news from a distinct corner of American life that it’s a revelation… its appearance marks the passing of a generational baton” (NYTimes).
The reviews have only been indicative of a new American classic, so we’re excited to dive into this with you.
